Today is Sunday. We’ve been aboard Bagatelle since Friday and were hoping to go ashore today to freshen up with hot showers at the marina and then fetch groceries - the beginning of provisioning for months away in the islands. But the wind has changed direction and we now have white caps on the river. Food and showers will have to wait. In the meantime, thought I’d share a few random photos from the past week-plus.
Since you’re here, I’ll take this opportunity to let you know that I welcome your comments and would love to hear any blog suggestions or questions that you’d like answered in future posts. Thanks!
Also, since Squarespace doesn’t seem to want me to add captions to the gallery below: We start with my arrival in Fort Lauderdale, several shots of sunrises and sunsets at Sunset Bay Marina in Stuart, FL, shots of James tackling various projects (installing solar panels, installing the frame for a new dodger, adding zippers to the bimini to add sun shades), some of the crafty projects I’ve taken on during boat-bound days, and a few pictures of little corners of our space - cluttered but cozy and all decorated for the holidays. Merry Christmas everyone!
